Terms of Service

By accessing or using TCGOK ("the Platform", "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Service.

These Terms apply to all users, including tournament participants, organizers, judges, and spectators.

Age Requirements

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
• Users under 18 should have parental or guardian consent
• Tournament participation may have additional age requirements

Account Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Not share your account with others

Official Rules

All tournaments conducted through TCGOK follow the official One Piece TCG Tournament Rules and Comprehensive Rules as published by Bandai Namco. You agree to:

• Follow all official One Piece TCG rules and regulations
• Comply with tournament organizer instructions
• Accept judge rulings during tournament play
• Report match results accurately and promptly

Code of Conduct

You must not:

• Engage in cheating, collusion, or unsportsmanlike conduct
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Use offensive language or imagery
• Intentionally misreport match results
• Disrupt tournaments or platform operations
• Impersonate others or create fake accounts

Penalties

Violations may result in warnings, tournament disqualification, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination. We reserve the right to remove users who violate these Terms or community standards.

Tournament Entry Fees

Some tournaments may require entry fees. By registering for a paid tournament:

• You agree to pay the stated entry fee
• All payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Fees are charged in USD unless otherwise stated
• You authorize us to charge your payment method

Refund Policy

Tournament entry fee refunds are subject to the following:

• Full refund: Cancel 48+ hours before tournament start
• 50% refund: Cancel 24-48 hours before tournament start
• No refund: Cancel less than 24 hours before start or no-show
• Tournament cancelled: Full refund issued automatically

Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days to your original payment method. Tournament organizers may set different refund policies, which will be clearly stated during registration.

Disputes

For payment disputes, contact us at support@tcgok.app within 30 days. For chargebacks or payment disputes filed with your bank, we may suspend your account pending resolution.

Your Content

You retain ownership of content you submit (profile information, deck lists, comments, etc.). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute your content as necessary to operate the Service.

Public Information

Tournament results, match records, and rankings are public information available to all users. By participating in tournaments, you consent to public display of:

• Your username and public profile
• Tournament placements and match results
• Deck archetypes and strategies used
• Statistics and ranking data

Prohibited Content

You may not submit content that:

• Violates laws or regulations
• Infringes intellectual property rights
• Contains malware or malicious code
• Is defamatory, obscene, or offensive
• Violates another person's privacy

TCGOK and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by TCGOK and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

One Piece TCG is a trademark of Bandai Namco. Card images, names, and game rules are property of their respective owners. TCGOK is an independent community platform not affiliated with or endorsed by Bandai Namco.

Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99%+ uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be unavailable due to:

• Scheduled maintenance (announced in advance)
• Emergency repairs or updates
• Technical issues beyond our control
• Force majeure events

Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice for significant changes affecting paid features.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND
• WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
• OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS
• WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THIRD-PARTY SERVICES (Stripe, Supabase, etc.)
• WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR USER CONDUCT OR TOURNAMENT OUTCOMES

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability, so these limitations may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TCGOK, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Your conduct at tournaments or on the platform

Informal Resolution

Before filing any legal claim, you agree to contact us at support@tcgok.app to resolve the dispute informally. We will work in good faith to reach a resolution within 30 days.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Arbitration

Any disputes not resolved informally shall be settled by binding arbitration in Oklahoma County, Oklahoma, in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules. You waive the right to participate in class actions.

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Prolonged inactivity (1+ years)
• At our discretion to protect the community

You may terminate your account at any time through account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and TCGOK.

Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.

Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

Assignment

You may not assign these Terms. We may assign our rights and obligations to any party without notice.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via:

• Email notification to registered users
• Prominent notice on the platform
• Updated "Last Updated" date on this page

Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with changes, you must stop using the Service and may request account deletion.
